Hi, my name is Jared, and I’m one of the two people who made this fine website and work on it. I’ve been playing fighting games since “Street Fighter II” as a child, but only really paying attention to them with a serious eye since 2009. That’s when “Street Fighter IV” came out and created a bunch of FGC fans known as “09ers.”

And as such, I’ve been competing in and watching pro fighting games as an eSports fan ever since. Live streams, in-person tournaments, my Master’s thesis dissertation, and a lot of arcade stick repairs to turn my joystick from a four-way gate to an eight-way gate so I can charge partition easier (I main Guile).
